Nuclear Facility Emergency Firewater Buried Pipeline Project
In excess of 1000 linear feet of 12” dia carbon steel pipe was blasted to sspc
sp-10 Sa 2.5 near white metal blast w/ min 3 mil blast profile and coated w/ (2) coat Enecon Ceramlloy system @ 12-15 mil dry film thickness per coat. Pipe turning machine was utilized to achieve uniform film build along the diameter of the pipe surface and to avoid major running or sagging of the coating by utilizing the centrifugal force produced by the pipe turning machine.
